Liri’s Iconic Creations: Pieces That Define a Redesign Generation

In the world of bespoke jewellery, the art of reinvention is celebrated in its most glittering form. At Liri, we are proud to be at the forefront of this transformational movement, and we’ve had the privilege of crafting truly remarkable pieces that tell tales of their own. Today, we dive deep into some of the standout stories and creations that encapsulate Liri’s signature charm.

Lorna’s Exclusive Ensemble

Lorna is a stylish lady and knew exactly what she wanted right from the start – a range of contemporary, high end pieces she could wear to complement her designer jewellery.

With plenty of gold and diamonds to use, it was a dream project. Not only were the links designed specifically for her bracelet but each piece was given the ‘Liri’ twist, to make sure her pieces were truly unique.

The ‘paperclip link’ bracelet emerged as the showstopper, radiating Liri’s commitment to exclusivity.

Ideas to Wear Link Pieces

This type of jewellery can be worn in many different ways, but here are some Liri suggestions on what to wear with it:

Casual Day Out: Wear a link bracelet with a casual tee and jeans. Stack it with other dainty bracelets for a layered look.

Office Attire: A link necklace can be worn over a collared shirt or blouse, adding a touch of sophistication.

Evening Gala: A link waist chain can be draped over a fitted dress, accentuating the waist and adding a touch of glamour.

Thomas’ Edgy Elegance

I love it when you come to me with a very clear idea of what you want, and Thomas had just that. Wanting something completely, unique with a ‘spiky’ feel, this statement  ring made from his own silver and stone, was the result.   He made sure to design it in a way that it would be both eye-catching and comfortable.

The final result was a beautiful, one-of-a-kind ring that he was proud of. I love it.

Gemma’s Renewed Radiance

Engagement rings symbolise eternal love, and for Gemma, it was essential that her ring reflected this sentiment. Tired of constantly losing its diamonds, she opted for a redesign.

I was more than happy to help. With the addition of 2 extra diamonds, she now has this gorgeous bridal set she can wear every day.

If you decide to create bespoke bridal jewellery, here are a few ideas to spark your imagination:

Sarah’s Aquamarine Allure

Sarah’s collection of old and inherited jewellery was waiting for a new lease  of life. Her desire? A statement bangle to complement her ring. Our creation did not disappoint. Three mesmerizing aquamarine gemstones, set in gorgeous gold. She never wants to take it off.

The perfect clothes to wear with aquamarine jewellery

Ethereal Whites: A white flowy maxi dress paired with an aquamarine pendant necklace or earrings can create a dreamy, beachy look.

Oceanic Blues: Navy blue or deep teal evening gowns will make aquamarine jewellery pop, especially statement pieces.

Pastel Palettes: Soft pastel shades like lavender, peach, or mint green can beautifully complement the tranquil vibe of aquamarine.

Fay’s Versatile Vignettes

Fay had inherited a lot of rings but they just weren’t her style. What’s a lady to do with so many gems? Well a sleek and stylish ring stack of course.

Each ring in her brand new stack is different, meaning she can mix and match, depending on her mood. You can’t help but fall in love with these, can you?

Reasons why you should redesign your old pieces

  • Sentimental Value: Many old jewellery pieces have sentimental value, be it heirlooms passed down through generations or gifts from loved ones. Redesigning allows you to preserve these memories while adapting them to your current style.
  • Sustainability: In an era where sustainability is paramount, repurposing old jewellery is eco-friendly. It reduces the need for new raw materials and minimises  the environmental impact associated with mining.
  • Cost-Effective: Redesigning can be more cost-effective than buying new jewellery. You already own the primary materials (gold, silver, gemstones), so you’re primarily paying for the craftsmanship.
  • Modernise and Update: Fashion and style evolve over time. What was stylish a decade ago might not resonate with today’s fashion. Redesigning allows you to modernise old pieces to fit contemporary styles.

At Liri, every piece is more than just jewellery. It’s a narrative, an emotion, and most importantly, an extension of the wearer’s persona. Our redesign generation is all about celebrating individuality, and these iconic creations are a testament to that. Dive into our world and let us craft your story next.
